Common Mistakes with MailChimp. Copying and Pasting from Word

Many beginners with MailChimp make common mistakes, we are creating a series of tutorials to help people to avoid the pitfalls and ensure that their marketing gets off to a good start. This tutorial shows you how to effectively use Microsoft Word to create email content for your campaign, and then transfer it over to your email template. 

Simply copying and pasting the information can lead to extraneous data being copied over, which could overwrite the formatting in your template.  Needless to say, we believe this is a very bad thing.  In terms of branding, consistency is key, that goes for styling, presentation, fonts, colours, and a whole host of other factors.
